Ina Garten is well-known American cookery book author and Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget papers. After initially finding the job interesting and stimulating but she quickly became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. It was a huge success for 18 years, until she decided to sell it. She then began her first cookbook. The cookbooks were followed by many more, and magazines columns that came later. The Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. In addition, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, supplies and containers. Ina she has not attended any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She has a complete self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed way of creating and entertaining. Some of her best known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
