Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. Her mother left her when she was just two years old to avoid an abusive relationship. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 back to her home and was given full control of her. However, it wasn't as was planned. When she turned 12, the court gave back Pickler to her grandparents whom she grew up with. Pickler, in the absence her parents and her older siblings, became busy to be a mother. She admitted that she didn't have time to go to school and began learning to become a housewife from an early age. Pickler was a cheerleader in her high and middle schools. North Stanly High School graduated her in 2004. Pickler has also been a beauty contestant. The name she was given was Miss Stanly.
